Jérémie Doiron $10,000 Scholarship
Research Discipline: Bioanalytical Chemistry and Immunology
Research Areas: Lipid dynamics in the inflammatory response, mass spectrometry applied to biomolecules.
Field of Application: Discovery of biomarkers and therapeutic targets for inflammatory and autoimmune diseases; fundamental investigation of the role of lipids in biological processes.
Volunteer work: I have the honor of volunteering with the Alexandre-Parks Foundation, participating in volunteer recruitment and event logistics (5 th Annual Alexandre-Parks Foundation Golf Tournament — August 8, 2025), as well as serving as a presenter at the 2nd Alexandre-Parks Foundation Recognition Gala (November 8, 2025).
I am also a member of the “Ride with Dr. Harb for Elite Cyclists” team in 2023 (641 km), 2024 (607 km), and 2025 (630 km) in support of the “In NB, Let’s Ride Against Cancer” fundraising initiative. More than $600,000 has been raised by the foundation since 2023 to provide free, non-medical support programs for people living with cancer. These programs offer comfort, connection, and care to those facing cancer, making a real difference in their everyday lives. I will return in 2026 as a Ride Leader, now contributing to the organization and logistics of the foundation’s events.
