2023 Charity Golf Tournament
The Memramcook Valley Golf Course hosted the 3rd annual Fondation Alexandre-Parks Foundation Charity Golf Tournament, which was a huge success, raising more than $45,700. These funds will help support the prestigious Alexandre-Parks graduate scholarships awarded by the Foundation.
The Foundation’s Board of Directors expresses its deep gratitude to the donors, participants and sponsors who generously contributed to this success. Despite the unpredictable weather conditions and the interruption of play, the exceptional commitment of volunteers and the direction of Philippe Vachon and his team allowed the tournament to shine.
The 2023 Alexandre-Parks Graduate Studies Scholarship, worth $10,000, was awarded to Vanessa Veilleux, a doctoral student in life sciences at the Université de Moncton, who is continuing the initial research work of Alexandre on breast cancer.
The fourth annual tournament will be held on August 9, 2024, in Memramcook, promising even more impact and commitment to the cause.
2022
The second annual Charity Golf Tournament of the Alexandre-Parks Foundation, held at the Memramcook Valley Golf Course, raised an impressive $40,150. These funds will play a crucial role in advancing our mission of awarding Alexandre-Parks Graduate Scholarships. We had the privilege of awarding the second scholarship, valued at $10,000, to Vanessa Veilleux, a doctoral student at the Université de Moncton, continuing Alexandre’s breast cancer research project.
Alexandre’s parents express their deep gratitude to donors, participants, and sponsors for their exceptional generosity. Furthermore, the exemplary dedication of our volunteers contributed to making this tournament an unforgettable day.
Alexandre’s inspiring narrative drives our commitment, and we trust it will inspire others to stand with the Alexandre-Parks Foundation.

2021
The inaugural Charity Golf Tournament hosted by the Alexandre-Parks Foundation took place at the Memramcook Valley Golf Course on August 13, 2021. Thanks to the generosity of our participants, sponsors and donors, we successfully raised over $36,500. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our sponsors, participants, donors, and volunteers for their invaluable support.
These funds will directly contribute to the provision of Alexandre-Parks Graduate Scholarships. During the tournament, we proudly awarded the 2021 recipient, Ms. Vanessa Veilleux, a doctoral student at the Université de Moncton, with a $5,000 scholarship.
We extend our gratitude to all those who have contributed to the advancement of research and doctoral education. Your participation was instrumental in the success of this event.
