IN HONOR OF ALEXANDRE

More than a golf tournament, this day is a way to keep Alexandre’s memory alive and to carry forward what mattered deeply to him: research, knowledge and hope.

Alexandre Parks was a passionate young scientist who had begun doctoral studies in life sciences at Université de Moncton. His curiosity, determination and commitment to research continue to inspire the Foundation and guide its work in support of the next generation of researchers.

Every year, this tournament reminds us that meaningful change can begin with simple gestures.

A round of golf.

A sponsorship.

A few hours of volunteering.

A donation.

Together, these gestures create opportunities for young scientists and help advance research.

FROM THE COURSE TO THE LAB

TURNING GENEROSITY INTO RESEARCH

The funds raised through the Alexandre-Parks Foundation Charity Golf Tournament help advance our mission of supporting local medical research and the next generation of scientists.

In 2026, the Foundation introduced a new $30,000 Alexandre-Parks Doctoral Scholarship, awarded over three years to support a doctoral student at Université de Moncton throughout their research journey.

This year’s scholarship was awarded to Noémie Gourdon, a doctoral student at Université de Moncton.
